Principal's Welcome
Thank you for your interest in St. John the Evangelist School. We are proud of our rich history of offering faith formation and excellence in education since 1883. Our motto is “Follow Jesus; Strive for Excellence.”

St, John the Evangelist School is dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence of children, pre-school through eighth grade, in a spiritual environment, which teaches the Catholic faith while promoting Christian service.

In recent years, many of our graduates have been accepted into some of the finest Catholic and private high schools in the area. Our students receive a strong spiritual, academic, and social foundation. We are committed to preparing our students to be respectful, caring, well-rounded individuals who are capable of making good decisions.

We welcome your interest in St. John the Evangelist School, and encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our school. Selecting the right educational environment for your child is an important decision and we would like to help you though the process.

This year we have changed our admissions process to rolling admissions. We have found that families are interested in securing seats for their children early so they know that they are guaranteed acceptance and they may plan accordingly. Please read the enclosed Application Procedures information sheet. We will be offering tours as we move forward so please call the office and register for a tour. We would love to show you what our school has to offer! We will also be hosting an Open House on January 31, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. All applications should have copies of your child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate, current report card, and standardized testing results if applicable attached. You are welcome to fill out an application at any time or you may download the application from our website.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Charlotte Kelly
